We have lived here for 5 years and this is the most snow we have seen here! It's almost like being back home. Gavin loved it and would've stayed out all day (except unfortunately when you live somewhere that it rarely snows you don't have snowpants or boots!). Jack is a true Southern boy- 30 seconds outside and he declared- "Cold! I go inside. Carry me!" So although we have no sled and the snow wouldn't pack enough for a snowman, we are enjoying our relaxing day at home (oh yeah- for you Northerners- 3 inches of snow here and EVERYTHING shuts down so no work or school for anyone!)

Where did you live before? Somewhere, obviously, where people would've scoffed at three inches. :o) Enjoy the surprise day off!

We got a little too but it melted in like 2 hours. Bummer! It is so pretty! Glad you got some down time out of it :)
You better get back up here to at least visit so the boys can enjoy a REAL snowfall!! :D
Can't wait to hear what KW has to say about your 3" of snow! :D I bet she'll be glad to get out of Alaska!!
Fun!!! ;) Same here in KY. One inch or even the threat...EVERYTHING closes. Forget trying to go to the grocery store either. No bread, no milk or bottled water. ;)
Same here...Seattle hills and snow don't mix. We have "storm watches" when there is even a threat of the white stuff. It is beautiful. Glad you can take some time to enjoy it!!
